Summit is the annual fall retreat for Power to Change - Students and Grace Toronto, happening Fri-Sun, Sep 27-29, 2024. Come encounter Jesus and experience community in nature with P2C students from UTSG, UTSC, York, TMU, Grace Toronto Church & more! Look forward to workshops, worship, sports & games, fellowship, getting deep into the Bible, campus time, and maybe even a bit of rest.

This year’s theme is “For Such a Time as This”

There is a spiritual openness in this current generation that we've not seen for many years. God has orchestrated this timing and placed his followers in universities to be bold, clear, and compassionate in living and sharing His good news. This phrase is found in Esther 4:14-16. If you are not a Christian, you are so welcome to come learn about Jesus and His message alongside us--none of us have arrived! Our main speaker, P2C's Dan Sherman, will unpack this all through God's word. Dan was involved in a student-led ministry in his undergrad at Carleton, and has since helped students take next steps towards Jesus at U of Guelph and now in a national role.

Registration closes on Thu, Sep 19th, 11:59 pm. Tickets are refundable until Mon, Sep 23rd.

The buses will leave Friday from Convocation Hall at UTSG (4:00 pm), 30 Billy Bishop Way (4:00 pm), and UTSC Student Center (5:00 pm). You can select your pick-up location. Buses will return to those locations by 5:00 pm on Sunday. Bring a packed dinner on Friday. Other meals and snacks are included.

You can choose to drive instead of taking the bus. If you won't make it for the buses, you can find someone to carpool with. (don't sign up for this until you have a ticket) Both cases are eligible for a $25 ticket refund - contact Regina.

Workshop topics include: Sharing Your Faith, Responding to Suffering, Walking with the Spirit, Global Impact, I'm a Leader but Wrestling on the Inside, and Rhythms of Prayer.

If you need to study during the weekend, there will be space provided during free time.
